After-School Study Hall
At Wellington Hall, students can transition to study hall after school is dismissed, to continue quiet homework and reading time under the care and supervision of our after-school staff. This offers parents the option to pick up their child later if necessary.
At 5:00 p.m., these students have something that many don’t – free time! Study hall is available at Wellington Hall Academy on a pay-for-service basis Monday to Friday, and it can be arranged by standing arrangement or on short notice.
Special Programs
High-Quality Arts
We believe that studying the arts and fostering creative expression is essential in the education of young people. We ensure that each child has a strong foundation in basic skills, but we also provide arts instruction and opportunities that go far beyond that found in typical K-8 schools. Our art, music, dance, and drama teachers are skilled and experienced, and instruction in these areas is of a very high quality.
Sciences
Students in all grades at WHA will receive a strong foundation in the fundamental sciences, as well as engineering and technology – through a hands-on program. Emphasis is also placed on environmental issues and stewardship, global food supply, and agriculture.
