WHA Online Learning During COVID-19

From March 15 – June 18 WHA moved all classes online to continue to deliver high quality and individualized learning to our students. See some of what we did here!

If you have any questions, concerns, or needs we might be able to help with, please leave a voicemail at 519-823-2278 or e-mail us: info@wellingtonhallacademy.ca

Talking to Students about COVID-19

Your children may have some questions regarding the virus and what’s happening. Here are a couple of resources to help guide your conversations with children and teens:

Just For Kids: A Comic Exploring The New Coronavirus

This comic for children was created by NPR to help children understand the COVID-19.

Talking to Children About COVID-19 (Coronavirus): A Parent Resource
By the National Association of School Psychologists

Your children will look to you for guidance on how to react to this stressful global event. Parents should remain calm, so as not to incite anxiety in children. Explain that health and school administration are working hard to limit risks and help everyone stay healthy.
