After School Care

Many private and independent schools have afterschool programs. Classes may end at 3:15 p.m., but the school day isn’t over, students can join Study Hall. Students transition to Study Hall to continue quiet homework and reading time under the care and supervision of our after-school teachers. This offers parents the option to pick up their child later if necessary. STUDY HALL makes sure homework is DONE before kids get home. Teachers help students complete homework from school and learn strategies to stay motivated and get extra practice in weak subjects. At 5:00 p.m., these students have something that many don’t: Free time.

After school care is available at Wellington Hall Academy on a pay for service basis.

After school care can be arranged by

1. Standing Arrangement: having a standing arrangement for specific days of the week can be organized and prepaid for on a weekly basis.

2. Short-Term Notice: you may also give us notice and prepay the morning that care is needed for.

The fee structure is as follows:

Please note: failure to pay for after-school supervision will result in termination of the service for the family. After school care is not available on the last day of any term.

Students do all their homework at school, which means they are free to participate in extracurricular activities or family time. “Our parents really appreciate it.”
